Dana Farber Cancer Institute: Bing Center for Walderstrom's Macroglobulinemia

Both Mary and Jon's families have suffered from cancer. Mary's dad is currently battling a rare blood leukemia called Waldernstrom's Macroglobulinemia (WM), a close cousin of the blood leukemia that took Jon's dad's life. Given the genetic nature of WM, Jon and Mary are investing in research at Dana Farber to help both prevent and treat WM. They both sit on Dana Farber's Visiting Committee for Hematologic Oncology.
